Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM): Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. EBCM is located behind left side of instrument panel.
  2. Remove lower trim panel from below steering column. On M/T models, remove left kick panel. On all models, remove nut attaching EBCM bracket to upper instrument panel. Push in retainer attaching EBCM bracket to sidewall. It will be necessary to cut EBCM push-in retainer head. Remove EBCM and bracket. Disconnect EBCM connectors and remove EBCM from vehicle.
