OPTI-Spark Plug Wire Harness Assembly (5.7L): Installation

  1. Connect spark plug wire harness to spark plugs. Spark plug wire harness to distributor, and spark plug wire harness to wire harness clips.
  2. Install lower radiator hose to water pump.
  3. Install crossover pipe to exhaust manifold assemblies. Tighten crossover pipe to exhaust manifold nuts to 26 ft. lbs. (35 N.m).
  4. Install power steering pump assembly, lower vehicle.
  5. Fill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ENGINE article. Check for leaks.
