Ignition Coil: Installation

  1. Spread silicone grease on metal mounting face of ignition coil bracket if necessary, and position ignition coil assembly (8) to cylinder head.
  2. Install stud (6). Tighten to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  3. Install bolt/screw. Tighten to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  4. Connect ignition coil harness, ignition coil wiring connectors and four-terminal PCM connector to ignition coil module.
