Wipers Do Not Operate When Washer Switch Is Activated

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between wiper/washer switch connector terminal "E" (Dark Green wire) and ground. Activate washer switch while watching test light.
  2. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check for open Dark Green wire in wiper/washer switch pigtail and switch connector. If wire is okay, replace wiper/washer switch.
  3. Check for open in Dark Green wire between wiper/washer switch connector and wiper motor. If wire is okay, replace wiper motor cover (circuit board). See Figure .
