Preliminary Inspection
- Be certain to verify proper Power Door Lock functionality before testing Remote Keyless Entry system.
- Check that transmitter battery terminals are clean and make good contact with the Battery.
- Try a second transmitter if available. If the second transmitter works, remove the Battery and install the Battery (Duracell #DL2016 or equivalent) in the original transmitter. Try the original transmitter again. If the original transmitter still does not work, it is defective.
