Instrument Panel - Analog: Testing: Voltmeter

With ignition switch in RUN position, connect a voltmeter between positive and negative battery terminals. If voltage reading on test voltmeter is same as instrument cluster voltmeter, voltmeter is okay. If voltmeter reading on test voltmeter is different from cluster voltmeter, replace instrument cluster.
