Window Regulator Motor: Installation

Install new motor to backplate. See Fig 1 .
Install rivet to motor at bottom location using ball peen hammer.
Clamp motor to backplate using locking pliers.
Remove bolt and nut securing sector gear.
Supply power to regulator to gain access for remaining two motor rivets.
Install two rivets.
Remove locking pliers.
Install window regulator. See WINDOW REGULATOR .

Install motor to regulator using a rivet (1/4" x .968", # 9441949 or equivalent).
Install regulator. See WINDOW REGULATOR .
