Window Switch Operation
When the ignition switch is in RUN position, battery voltage is applied through the Pink wires to the window switches. When UP is selected at the right front window switch, battery voltage is applied to the right front window motor through the Dark Blue wire. The motor is grounded through the Borwn wire and the DOWN contact in the right front switch assembly and Tan wire in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window up.
When the DOWN switch is operated, polarity is reversed and battery voltage is applied to the right front window motor through the Brown wire. The motor is grounded through the UP contact (Dark Blue/White wire) in the right front window switch assembly and the Dark Blue wire in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window down. The other windows operate similarly from their individual switches.
