Test B, Door Lock Relay Assembly Test
- Check for voltage at suspect door lock relay assembly connector. Ensure door lock relay assembly connector is connected.
- Check for voltage between terminal C (Orange/Black wire) and ground. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Orange/Black wire for an open or short to ground.
- Check for voltage between terminals C (Orange/Black wire) and D (Black wire). Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Black wire for an open.
- Depress door lock switch to Unlock position and hold. Check for voltage between terminal F (Black wire) and ground. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Black wire for an open or short to ground.
- Check for voltage between terminal E (Tan wire) and ground. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Tan wire for a short to ground. If okay, replace door lock relay assembly.
- Depress door lock switch to Lock position and hold. Check for voltage between terminal B (Gray wire) and ground. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Gray wire for a short to ground. If okay, replace door lock relay assembly.
- Check for voltage between terminal A (Light Blue wire) and ground. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, service/repair Light Blue wire for an open or short to ground.
- Measure voltage with door lock switch in Lock position and then Unlock position. Check for voltage between terminal B (Gray wire) and E (Tan wire). Battery voltage should exist when in Lock and Unlock positions. If battery voltage does not exist, when in Lock and Unlock positions, replace door lock relay assembly.
