Washer Inoperative

  1. Remove electrical connector at washer motor. Turn ignition on. Connect test light between Black wire and Pink wire of connector.
  2. Turn washer on and note test light. If voltage exists, replace washer motor. If no voltage exists, connect test light from Black wire terminal of washer motor connector to ground.
  3. Turn washer on and note test light. If voltage exists, repair open in Black wire from washer motor to ground.
  4. If no voltage exists, install electrical connector on washer motor. Remove connector from wiper motor. Connect test light between Gray wire or wiper motor harness and ground. Turn washer on and note test light.
  5. If voltage exists, check for open in Pink wire between wiper motor and washer motor. If wiring is okay, replace wiper motor. If no voltage exists, check for open in Gray wire between wiper switch and wiper motor. If wiring is okay, replace wiper switch.
