KICKDOWN Cable
- Remove air cleaner assembly. Release locking spring clip adjuster. Pull locking tab or remove locking spring clip to release cable adjuster spring tension. See Fig 1

- Depress accelerator pedal until contact is made with kickdown switch (below accelerator pedal). In this position, throttle valve must be fully open. Adjust accelerator cable if necessary.
- Position of throttle cable adjustment is correct when accelerator pedal is depressed beyond full wide open throttle position. Do not touch cable during adjustment. Lock cable adjustment with locking tab or spring clip.
