The ECM processes information from the input sensors and sends appropriate voltage control signals to the following engine controls:
- A/C Compressor Clutch (Idle Control)
- Engine Cooling Fan (Miscellaneous ECM Controlled Signals)
- Evaporative Emission Control System (Emission Systems)
- Fuel Injector Solenoid (Fuel Control)
- Fuel Pressure Regulator (Fuel Delivery)
- Fuel Pump (Fuel Delivery)
- Fuel Pump Relay (Fuel Delivery)
- High Energy Ignition (Ignition System)
- Electronic Spark Timing (Ignition System)
- Idle Air Control Valve (Idle Control)
- Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid (Transmission Controls)
- Transmission Shift Light (Transmission Controls)
