Removal & Installation
Remove electrical connector from IACV. Remove mounting screws and valve from TBI unit. Measure distance from mounting flange to point of pintle. If distance from flange to pintle is greater than 1.125" (28 mm) valve must be retracted prior to installation. Apply firm hand pressure and wiggle side-to-side to retract pintle. Install new "O" ring on valve assembly. Install valve and mounting screws in TBI unit. See Fig 1 .
