One Headlight Door Does Not Operate

  1. Remove 4-pin connector from HDM (leave 5-pin connector in place). When checking left headlight door, connect fused jumpers from terminal "A" (Gray/Black wire) of 4-pin connector to terminal "C" of HDM, and from terminal "B" (Light Green/Black wire) of 4-pin connector to terminal "D" of HDM. Go to step 3).
  2. When checking right headlight door, connect fused jumpers from terminal "C" (Dark Green wire) of 4-pin connector to terminal "A" of HDM, and from terminal "D" (Gray wire) of 4-pin connector to terminal "B" of HDM. Go to step 3).
  3. Turn light switch to "ON" position. If headlight door works, replace HDM. If headlight door does not work, check wiring to headlight door motor. Replace headlight door motor as necessary.
