Both Headlight Doors Do Not Operate
- Place headlight switch in "OFF" position. Headlight doors should close. If not, disconnect 5-pin connector at HDM. Connect test light at HDM connector between terminal "B" (Red wire) and ground. If test light lights, go to step 2). If not, check Red wire and fusible link for an open.
- Connect test light between terminal "E" (Red wire) and ground. If test light lights, go to step 3). If not, check Red wire and fusible link for an open.
- Connect test light between terminal "C" (White wire) and ground. If test light lights, go to step 4). If not, check tail fuse, light switch, and White wire for an open.
- Connect test light between terminal "C" (White wire) and terminal "D" (Black wire). If test light lights, go to step 5). If not, check Black wire for an open.
- Place headlight switch in "HEAD" position. Connect test light between terminal "A" (Yellow wire) and ground. If test light lights, replace HDM. If not, check Yellow wire for an open. If wire is okay, check fusible link and associated wiring to light switch for an open.
