Ignition Timing

NOTE: Engines are equipped with a receptacle for a magnetic probe timing light, located 9.5° ATDC. Do not use this receptacle with a normal timing light.

Check or adjust engine timing with engine idling at specified RPM and at operating temperature. Disconnect 4-wire connector from base of distributor. After adjusting timing, reconnect connector.
