Functional Test: "Off"

The ATC system is completely shut off when the ignition switch is off. With the ignition switch turned on, the electrical circuit to the ATC system is accomplished. With the control panel selector in the "OFF" position, the blower motor will not run until the engine coolant temperature reaches 120°F. The fan motor will run at low speed regardless of fan switch position once the coolant reaches the 120°F mark. Air will flow from the heater outlets only. The compressor is not running.
