Control Head Selector Lever: Off

Regardless of the position of the Temperature Dial and Selector Lever, the system is completely inoperative until the ignition switch is turned ON. Turning on the ignition switch will activate the system even when the Selector Lever is OFF. The system will come on when engine water temperature approximates 120°F. If in-car temperature is approximately 80°F. when the ignition switch is turned on, the system will operate immediately.

The blower will run at low speed and air will flow from the heater outlets. Discharge air temperature will depend on Temperature Dial setting.
