Instrument Panel Control Head

Consists of two units: 1) Temperature Dial (thumbwheel) which permits selection of desired in-car temperature (65°F. to 85°F. in 5° graduations) and positions temperature dial rheostat accordingly (see SENSOR SYSTEM AND TEMPERATURE DIAL RHEOSTAT ) and, 2) Selector Lever operating an electrical switch and vacuum valve providing seven operational modes from "Off" to "De-Ice".
