DTC P1388: Auto Shutdown Relay Control Circuit: Description

Circuit is monitored with ignition on and battery voltage more than 10.4 volts. DTC will set when PCM senses a short or open in Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay control circuit. Possible causes are: defective ASD relay, fused battery voltage circuit open or shorted, ASD relay control circuit open or shorted, or defective PCM.
