DTC P1490: Low Speed Fan Control Relay Circuit: Description

Circuit is monitored when ignition is on and battery voltage is more than 10 volts. DTC will set when PCM detects an open or shorted condition in radiator fan relay control circuit. Possible causes are: defective radiator fan relay, fused ignition switch output circuit open or shorted, radiator fan relay control circuit open or shorted, or defective PCM.
