Throttle Valve Cable
NOTE:
Engine idle speed MUST be correct for proper throttle pressure linkage adjustment. If engine idle speed is incorrect, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
Ensure transaxle fluid is at normal operating temperature. Release adjustment locking tab on cable at throttle body. Do not remove tab. See Fig 1. Grasp cable housing near adjustment body. Push housing towards throttle body, then release. Press lock tab to lock housing. Road test vehicle to verify proper transaxle operation.
