ON/OFF/SET Switch

  1. Remove speed control ON/OFF/SET switch assembly. See SPEED CONTROL SWITCHES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 3-pin switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ON/OFF/SET switch pins No. 1 and 3. See Figure. No continuity should be present.
  2. With ohmmeter leads in same position, press ON/OFF button. Ohmmeter should indicate less than .5 ohm. Press SET button. Ohmmeter should indicate 6583-6717 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace ON/OFF/SET switch assembly.
