Anti-Lock Brake System: Description

The Teves Mark 20 anti-lock brake system prevents wheel lock-up during heavy braking conditions, allowing driver to maintain vehicle directional stability. System components include ABS fluid accumulators, ABS fuse, Amber ABS warning light, Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB), Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU), inlet valves and solenoids, outlet valves and solenoids, proportioning valves, pump and motor assembly, Red BRAKE warning light, traction control switch (if equipped) and wheel speed sensors.
