Test VER-2A - Verification Procedure

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and wiring. Turn ignition on. Use scan tool to erase trouble codes. Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds and then turn ignition on (engine off).
  2. Operate system that was malfunctioning to verify correct operation. If system does not operate properly, go to SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A  in DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. If system operates properly, read fault messages using scan tool. If any codes are present, go to SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A  in DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. If no codes are present, repair is complete.
