CMTC Test 6A - Elapsed Time Inoperative Or Wrong

NOTE: Perform CMTC TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
NOTE: For CMTC wiring diagram, see INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ACCESSORIES & ELECTRICAL section.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.

Cycle ignition switch off, then on. Observe instrument cluster warning lights. If lights illuminate, then go off, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. If lights do not illuminate, see VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS TESTS  .
