Abs Bleeding

NOTE: Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB-III) is necessary to properly bleed Teves Mark IV G anti-lock brake system.
  1. Ensure all hydraulic brake system components are properly installed and all connections are tight. Using scan tool, check Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) for faults. If any faults are stored, clear CAB faults.
  2. Bleed base brake system. See MANUAL BLEEDING  or PRESSURE BLEEDING  . After bleeding base brake system, using scan tool, enter BLEED ABS routine. Firmly apply brake pedal and hold. Using scan tool, initiate BLEED ABS cycle once. Release brake pedal. Bleed base brake system again. Repeat step 2) until fluid flows free of air bubbles. Ensure brake fluid reservoir is full.
