Verification Procedure VER-1

  1. Ensure all engine components are connected. Reassemble and reconnect components as necessary. Inspect engine oil for fuel contamination. Change oil and filter if necessary. Attempt to start engine.
  2. If engine does not start, check if any Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) apply to vehicle and return to TEST TC-1A if necessary.
  3. If engine starts and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was replaced, connect scan tool to data link connector and erase DTCs. Repair is complete.
  4. If engine starts and PCM was not replaced, connect scan tool to data link connector and erase DTCs. Repair is complete.
