Pump/Motor Circuits

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
  1. Stop actuator test. Turn ignition off. If pump/motor is heard running, replace relay box. Perform TEST VER-1A. If pump/motor is not heard running, disconnect relay box 10-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connector is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) 60-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connector is okay, use scan tool in ohmmeter mode to check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 16 (Gray wire). If resistance is less than 10 ohms, repair short to ground in Gray/Light Blue or Gray wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, go to TEST 20A.
