Window Motor & Regulator: Installation
- Install motor into center of housing with one stud securing motor to housing. Before installing new spring, power motor into full-up position.
- Replace assist spring on cable housing. Wind spring counterclockwise 3 1/2 turns on right door, and clockwise 3 1/2 turns on left door. Install other 2 studs and nuts. Tighten nuts to 35-45 INCH lbs. (4-5 N.m). Ensure cables are not twisted prior to installing motor and housing into door. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
