Crankshaft Angle Sensor (3.3L): Removal

  1. Disconnect crankshaft angle sensor pick-up lead at wiring harness connector. See Figure . Remove sensor retaining bolt. Pull sensor straight up out of transaxle housing.
  2. If reinstalling removed sensor, clean off old spacer from sensor face. New spacer must be attached to sensor face before installation. If replacing sensor, paper spacer is attached to face of new sensor.
