Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation
Ensure knuckle sensor hole is clean. Before installing sensor into housing hole, lightly coat sensor with non-metallic, anti-seize compound, or high-temperature multipurpose grease. Tighten sensor screw to 60 INCH lbs. (7 N.m). There is no sensor air gap adjustment. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
CAUTION:
Proper installation of wheel speed sensor harness cables is critical to system operation. Ensure cables are properly installed in retainers. Failure to install harness cables in retainers may result in cable contact with moving parts and/or over-extension of cables, causing an open circuit.
