Fuel Injector

  1. Remove fuel rail assembly. See FUEL INJECTOR RAIL ASSEMBLY  in this article. Remove injector retaining clip. See Figure. Pull injector straight out of fuel rail receiving cup.
  2. Ensure injector tips are protected while injectors are removed. Replace "O" ring if worn or damaged. Lubricate "O" ring with engine oil prior to installation. To install, reverse removal procedure.
