Erasing Codes From SMEC Memory

  1. To erase codes from memory, the DRB-II Tester (C-4805 ) MUST be used. Put system into Diagnostic Test Mode and wait for "55" to appear on display.
  2. Press "READ/HOLD" key until "READ" is displayed. Press "F3" key, then enter Sensor Test Code "10" and press "ENTER" key. Press "READ/HOLD" key until "HOLD" is displayed.
NOTE: Since sensor test codes are the same as ATM codes, the ATM test circuit will turn on before "HOLD" is displayed.

Display will flash "0" for 4 seconds. When flashing stops, all codes have been cleared from memory.
