Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC)

CAUTION: DO NOT remove grease from 14-pin or 60-pin connector or connector cavity in computer. Grease is used to prevent moisture from corroding terminals. If there is not at least 1/8" of grease on bottom of computer cavities, apply a liberal amount of Mopar Multi-Purpose Grease (2932524).

The SMEC controls the entire ignition system by using information received from various engine sensors. The SMEC provides an infinite number of advance curves to meet the needs of all driving conditions. No adjustments are possible on this system.
