Window Regulator & Motor Assembly: Installation

  1. Install regulator into door and align mounting holes. On front door, regulator roller must be engaged in lift channel. On both doors, secure regulator assembly using 1/4" x 20 bolts and nuts. Tighten bolts to 90-115 INCH lbs. (10-13 N.m).
  2. Ensure that bolts do not interfere with window mechanism. On rear doors, install regulator-to-regulator arm bolt. Tighten bolt to 115 INCH lbs. (13 N.m). Remove support used to secure glass. On all applications, connect wiring harness and negative battery cable. Install water shield and trim panel.
