Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC)

The SMEC, used on Chrysler Motors FWD vehicles with 3.0L V6 engines, features a microprocessor and an Optical Distributor. It provides an infinite number of variable advance curves. This allows ignition of lean air/fuel mixtures according to differing modes of engine operation.
