Throttle Body: Removal
- Remove air cleaner and perform fuel system pressure release. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect all vacuum hoses and electrical connectors.
- Remove the throttle cable. Remove the speed control cable and transmission kickdown cable (if equipped). Remove return spring and fuel lines. Remove throttle body mounting screws. Remove the throttle body.
NOTE:
Never use silicone lubricants on "O" rings or seals, as damage may result.
