Coolant Sensor Test

Turn ignition off and disconnect wire connector from coolant sensor. Connect ohmmeter leads between coolant sensor terminals. Coolant temperature of 70°F (21°C) should show 5000-6000 ohms. Coolant temperature of 200°F (93°C) should show 700-800 ohms. If not, replace sensor.
