Ignition System - MITSUBISHI Electronic: Overhaul: Reassembly

To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Inspect distributor cap for cracks, flashover, damage to carbon brush and worn terminals. Remove light scaling from terminals. Ensure grease on back side of IC igniter is not removed, it is necessary for heat dissipation. Apply grease to all sliding surfaces.
