Checking Fluid Level

Clean filler cap and neck. Check fluid level with engine off and fluid at normal operating temperature. Fluid level must be between "FULL" and "ADD" marks on dipstick.

NOTE: If fluid level becomes abnormally low, inspect power steering system for leaks. Refill pump using recommended fluid and recheck after 500 miles to verify system condition.

Application Fluid Type
Mopar (1) Power Steering Fluid P/N (431-8055)
(1) DO NOT use automatic transmission fluid.
