Ignition Coil Wire
- Remove distributor cap leaving all secondary wires connected. Connect ohmmeter leads between center contact inside distributor cap and either primary terminal of ignition coil.
- If resistance exceeds 25,000 ohms, remove wire from ignition coil tower and recheck resistance. If resistance is over 15,000 ohms, replace ignition coil wire.
