Power Transistor

  1. Remove power transistor connector. Apply 1.5 volts (one dry cell battery) between terminals No. 1 and 2. Electricity should flow. See Fig 1 .
  2. Apply 1.5 volts (one dry cell battery) between terminals No. 3 and 2 with terminal No. 1 disconnected and connected. With terminal No. 1 disconnected, no electricity flows. With terminal No. 1 connected, electricity should flow.
