Fuel Pressure Dampener: Removal
- Perform fuel system pressure release procedure. Remove PCV system hose assembly from intake manifold and valve cover.
- Place a shop rap or towel under fuel pressure dampener to absorb any fuel spillage. Using 2 open-end wrenches, one on the flats of the fuel rail and the other on the fuel pressure dampener (2 wrenches must be used or damage will occur), remove the fuel pressure dampener and copper washer.
