Brake/Speed Control Switch

  1. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position. Move speed control to "ON" position. Disconnect double connector at switch pigtail and connect a 12-volt source to either terminal, then connect a test lamp from other terminal to ground.
  2. Test lamp should light with brake pedal in normal position. If switch is correctly adjusted, test lamp light should go out when brake pedal is depressed a maximum of 3/8" (10 mm).
