Checking Idle Mixture

  1. Remove hose to heated air sensor from 3-wire connector and install propane supply hose in its place. Open propane main valve. Meter propane unit maximum RPM is reached.
  2. Engine speed should increase by the following amounts: For 1.6L, 225 RPM; for 2.2L, 90 RPM. If engine speed is okay, go to next test. If engine speed increase in not okay, adjust according to propane assisted idle set procedure.
