Preliminary Checks

  1. Make following checks and correct if necessary before performing any test on the Hydro-Boost system. Check engine idle speed. Inspect steering hoses for leaks or kinks.
  2. Check for proper fluid levels and for air in fluid of master cylinder and power steering pump. Check steering pump for proper pressure and drive belt tension and condition.
NOTE: If problem cannot be found in preliminary steps or tests, check areas of brake system that might cause condition. See TROUBLE SHOOTING  .
