Electronic Throttle Control

The Electronic Throttle Control system and 2 electric timers are incorporated within the SCC. A solenoid, mounted on the carburetor, is energized whenever the air conditioning, rear window defogger or electric timers are activated. The 2 timers operate when the throttle is closed, providing a 1 second time delay, or after engine is started.
