Fuel Injection Mixer: Reassembly
- Insert joint "A" of throttle position sensor to joint "B" and install throttle position sensor to throttle body. Then temporarily tighten screws. See Fig 1
.
NOTE: After installing injection mixer assembly to engine, adjust throttle position sensor.
- Clamp connector into bracket. Check for proper installation of throttle position sensor. Measure resistance value between terminals 1 and 2, 3 and 4, while moving throttle lever from open to close. If resistance value changes, throttle position sensor is properly installed.
- Install new seal ring into groove of throttle body. Install mixing body on throttle body and tighten screws.
- Install ISC servo and bracket, and tighten screws. Install connector bracket to throttle body, and clamp ISC connector into bracket. Install throttle return spring and damper spring.
- Insert new seal ring into mixing body. When installing seal ring, flat face side is up. Install new "O" ring and new collars to injector. Install injectors into mixing body. Push down injector firmly by finger. See Fig 2 .
- Insert pulsation damper diaphragm into injector retainer. Install pulsation damper spring and cover, and then tighten screws. Install new "O" rings to regulator, and then install fuel pressure regulator to injector retainer. See Fig 3 .
- Install injector holder and push down firmly. Gradually and alternately tighten screws. Check filters in retainer for clogging or damage. Reinstall unit on vehicle.
