Starters - BOSCH & NIPPONDENSO: Description

Horizon and Omni models use either a Bosch or a Nippondenso direct drive type starter with an overunning clutch. Starters are 12 volt with an enclosed solenoid mounted on starter. On automatic transmission models, the rear armature support bushing is part of the starter housing. On manual transmission models, the bushing is mounted in the clutch housing.
